šŸŽ¬ The Final Episode… But Not the End of the Story ā¤ļø

Tonight, the final episode of This Is Poly airs.

Wow...

What a journey this has been.

Kami Flack, Trent, and Nita smiling together during a professional photoshoot for This Is Poly, celebrating the final episode of the series and reflecting on a journey of love, authenticity, and personal growth.

If you had told me a few years ago that millions of people would one day watch one of the most personal seasons of my life unfold on television, I would have laughed.

Or cried.

Probably both. 😊

Because for most of my life, I believed that being fully seen was dangerous.

I learned to hide the questions.

To hide the doubts.

To hide the grief.

To hide the parts of me that didn't fit neatly into other people's expectations.

Because somewhere along the way, I learned that belonging often came with conditions.

If I believed the right things...

If I made the right choices...

If I didn't disappoint anyone...

If I stayed inside the lines...

Then maybe I would be accepted.

But life has a way of changing us.

Sometimes gently.

Sometimes by completely dismantling everything we thought we knew.

For me, this journey didn't begin with reality television.

It began years ago with unimaginable grief, impossible questions, and the slow realization that I could no longer keep abandoning myself just to make other people comfortable.

The show simply became another chapter in that story.

Was it messy?

Absolutely. šŸ˜‚

Were there moments I wish had been shown differently?

Of course.

Did we make mistakes?

More than a few.

But here's what I'm most proud of...

ā¤ļø We showed up.

Not as perfect people.

Not as people who had everything figured out.

Just as three human beings trying to love well, communicate honestly, and keep growing.

Reality television has a funny way of reminding you that everyone has an opinion.

Some people celebrated us.

Some misunderstood us.

Some judged us.

Some cheered us on.

And some quietly reached out to say...

"I thought I was the only one."

The only one asking hard questions.

The only one trying to figure out relationships.

The only one wondering if there might be another way to live honestly.

Those messages have meant more to me than you'll ever know.

Because they remind me why vulnerability matters.

Somewhere along this journey, I realized something that has changed my life forever...

✨ The goal was never to convince everyone to agree with my life.

✨ The goal was to stop believing I needed everyone's approval in order to live it.

That has been the greatest gift of this experience.

Not the cameras.

Not the attention.

Not the opportunities that followed.

✨ Freedom.✨

Freedom to tell the truth.

Freedom to ask hard questions.

Freedom to let people misunderstand me without feeling the need to constantly defend myself.

Freedom to discover that authenticity isn't about getting everyone to like you...

It's about finally liking the person you become when you stop pretending.

Because at the end of the day...

This story was never just about polyamory.

It was about three human beings who chose to stop hiding and allowed the world to see them as we really were...

Imperfect.

Growing.

Loving.

Learning.

Doing the best we knew how.

Whether you agreed with every choice we made was never really the point.

The point was choosing honesty over hiding.

ā¤ļø One last thing...

I know many of you will finish tonight's finale wondering...

"So... where are the three of you now?"

The show captured one season of our lives.

Life has continued to unfold since the cameras stopped rolling.

Rather than try to answer that in a few paragraphs, Trent, Nita, and I are recording a podcast where we'll share an honest update about where life has taken us, what we've learned, and what our relationship looks like today.

Some things have changed.

Some things have surprised us.

And some things have become even stronger than we expected.

We'll share it as soon as it's ready, and I hope you'll join us.

Because tonight may be the end of the television story...

But it isn't the end of ours. ā¤ļø

To everyone who watched with an open heart...

Thank you. ā¤ļø

To everyone who challenged us...

Thank you. ā¤ļø

To everyone who reached out to share your own story...

Thank you. ā¤ļø

You reminded me that honesty has a way of giving other people permission to be honest too.

The cameras may be turning off...

But I have a feeling the conversations are only just beginning.

And honestly...

I can't wait to see where they lead us.

With love,

Kami ā¤ļø

✨ Keep asking hard questions.

✨ Keep choosing honesty.

✨ Keep believing that love grows where truth is welcome.
