A Little Sparkle, A Little Stillness

— however Christmas found you!
A little sparkle.
A little mischief.
And just enough cheer to keep things interesting. ✨

Bells jingling.
Lights flickering.
Music playing—sometimes soft,
sometimes turned up just enough to dance in the kitchen.
Fireplaces crackling…
or candles doing the heavy lifting.
Cookies baking.
Wine pouring.
Snow falling outside while warmth is made inside—
by people, by pets, by quiet rituals, by simply showing up.
Busy rooms and quiet corners.
Laughter spilling over and pauses that linger.
Boots by the door,
coats on chairs,
or pajamas that never left the couch.
Family tables.
Chosen spaces.
Sacred gatherings, living rooms, long drives, or nowhere in particular.
Moments that felt full—
and moments that felt tender, complicated, or a little lonely.
This year was different for me.
I learned to take care of myself—
to honor my mind and my body.
Christmas was quiet,
and it was exactly what I needed.
I let memories come back,
the kind that live in the body,
the ones that had held tears for years.
I made Cole’s waffles. His granola.
(No wheat. No gluten. No sugar.)
Not your typical Christmas dinner—
but the nostalgia wasn’t lost on anyone.
The tears flowed,
and so did the love.
And for anyone who felt on the outside this season—
outcast, in-between, misunderstood, or not quite sure where you belong right now—
there is nothing wrong with you.
You didn’t miss anything.
You are not late to life.
You are allowed to take up space, even quietly.
However Christmas met you—
big or small,
joyful or muted,
celebrated loudly or simply endured—
may it leave you with peace, warmth, and a sense of being gently held.
Sending peace and love to every heart, exactly as you are. ✨🤍

Merry Christmas,
Yours, Mine & Ours
