✨ What Does Abundance Look Like in Marriage? ✨
Years ago, Trent and I started asking a question that quietly changed the direction of our lives. 🌿
Not because we were unhappy.
Not because our marriage was broken.
Not because we were looking for an escape hatch.
But because we’ve always been people willing to ask big questions. 🖤
And one day we found ourselves asking:

What does abundance actually look like in marriage?
Not survival.
Not obligation.
Not performance.
Not simply staying together.
🌿Abundance.🌿
At the time, we thought we were asking a relationship question.
Looking back now, I think we were actually asking a human question.
Because every truly transformative season of my life has started the same way:
with a question I couldn’t un-ask.
That’s been true in my faith. My healing. My grief.
My identity. My relationships. My body. My voice.
✨I’ve learned that freedom often lives on the other side of the questions we’re most afraid to ask.✨
And this question led us somewhere we never expected.
Over time, our journey became far less about relationships or sexuality and far more about human connection.🌎
What makes people feel emotionally safe?
Why are so many humans profoundly lonely?
Why do so many people feel unseen inside their own lives?
Why does vulnerability feel so terrifying?
Why are honesty and shame constantly fighting each other inside modern relationships?
The deeper we explored, the more we realized something surprising:
🤍Most humans are starving for authentic connection.🤍
Not surface interaction.
Not performance.
Not image management.
🌿Real connection.🌿
The kind where people feel fully seen, fully accepted, and emotionally safe.
And somewhere along the way, our unconventional journey became an experiment in exploring that idea.
Not because we believe everyone should live the way we do.
We don’t.
But because this path unexpectedly taught us things we never learned through fear, perfectionism, or performance.
It taught us about:
• communication
• consent
• insecurity
• vulnerability
• body shame
• belonging
• emotional honesty
• compassion
It taught us how deeply humans ache to be accepted without needing to hide parts of themselves.
It taught us that the deeper we connect with people, the harder it becomes to judge them.
And maybe most importantly, it taught us that many of the assumptions we inherited about love, ownership, intimacy, and relationships deserve to be questioned.
Not rejected blindly.
Questioned honestly.
🔥Because I’ve come to believe that questioning is not rebellion.🔥
It’s exploration.
It’s curiosity.
It’s courage.
It’s the willingness to sit in uncertainty long enough to discover whether something is actually true.
That process has changed every part of my life.
Not because I think I’ve arrived at perfect answers.
I absolutely haven’t.
But because I’m no longer willing to sacrifice truth, authenticity, or human connection just to preserve comfort.
So no — this journey isn’t really about trying to shock people.
It’s about asking bigger questions.
Questions about love.
Belonging.
Emotional safety.
Loneliness.
Intimacy.
Ownership.
Shame.
Sexuality
Authenticity.
And what humans might become if we learned how to relate to one another with more honesty and less fear.
Maybe we’ll get things wrong sometimes.
Probably.
But we’re willing to explore.
Because at the end of the day, I don’t think humans are longing for perfection nearly as much as we are longing to feel deeply and authentically connected. 🤍
And honestly?
✨That feels like a conversation worth having.✨
With love,
Kami & Trent
